Windows VPN Setup

A step-by-step guide for setting up VPN on Windows using NekoRay.

NekoRay (Recommended)

Download and Install

Go to GitHub NekoRay
Download the latest version for Windows
Extract the archive to a convenient folder
Run nekoray.exe as administrator

Add Configuration

Copy the configuration link you received after purchase
In NekoRay, press Ctrl+V to paste

Connect

Check the TUN Mode box
Select your server from the list
Right-click the selected server
From the dropdown, choose Start
Wait 30-40 seconds for connection

Connection Check

Go to whoer.net and check your location and IP. If they differ from your real ones, VPN is working.

Speed Test

Go to speedtest.net and check your connection speed. Note: Speed depends on your region, network, server load, and the selected speedtest server.

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

Check your internet connection
Try a different server
Restart the application

Slow Speed

Choose the nearest server
Try a different protocol
Close unnecessary programs

Startup Errors

Run as administrator
Disable antivirus temporarily
Check Windows Firewall
Avoid additional programs like kill switch or apps that change DNS
